Introduction to Bronze Casting

Discover the art of bronze casting in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop led by acclaimed metal artist Dan Rotblatt. With over 50 years of experience and a background teaching at CSULB and Citrus College, Dan will guide students through the entire process of creating a bronze belt buckle, medallion, or plaque using traditional sand casting techniques.

You’ll sculpt your design, make a sand mold, and watch as molten bronze is poured into your creation. The class also includes instruction on finishing and polishing your final piece. All tools and materials are provided—just bring your creativity and wear natural fiber, long pants for safety.
