This is a special, in-person event, that is a part of the Ronald Reagan Library’s “Auschwitz: Not Long Ago. Not Far Away.” exhibit. Guest speaker and Auschwitz-Birkenau survivor, Tova Friedman will be welcomed at the Reagan Library to speak on Sunday, April 2nd. Tova is also an author and cookbook contributor and will be sharing heirloom recipes alongside her stories. Tickets to the event are $40 and can be purchased through the Reagan Library’s website. Desserts, made by the Reagan Library chefs with recipes from Tova Friedman’s cookbook, will be provided with refreshments. The program will begin at 1:00 PM and will be followed by a book signing for both Tova Friedman’s bestselling memoir The Daughter of Auschwitz as well as the cookbook Honey Cake & Latkes: Recipes from the Old World by the Auschwitz Birkenau Survivors.
