Rancho Simi Community Park, also known as Duck Pond Park, was the first community park built in Simi Valley. One main highlight of this park is the lagoon, which serves as a wonderful place to walk, sit, and relax. At this park there is a reservable amphitheater, picnic tables, barbecues, horseshoe pits, and shuffleboard courts. There is a pre-teen play area, a tot-lot, a handicap accessible play area, and restrooms. Additionally, this park features a soccer field, tennis courts, and pickleball courts.
Rancho Simi community Park has Simi Valley's only public swimming pool. The pool is olympic sized with two diving boards and is home to Simi Valley's aquatic programs.
