Family Book Festival

Simi Valley Friends of the Library presents “Reading Round the Campfire”. This special event will be held at the Simi Valley Public Library on May 18th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The annual Family Book Festival is back with author, Joe Cepeda, visiting the library. There will be fun, free activities including making crafts, reading to therapy dogs, pictures with a park ranger, and more! At 11:00am meet Joe Cepeda, an award-winning illustrator and author of more than 30 children’s books as well as creator of images for magazines and other publications. He will read from his book, The Worst Camping Trip Ever!, and demonstrate how to illustrate your ideas!
