Simi Valley Friends of the Library Family Book Festival
The Simi Valley Friends of the Library is hosting their annual Family Book Festival. The theme is C.O.L.O.R. – Celebrating Our Love of Reading and will feature a presentation by #1 New York Times bestselling author Drew Daywalt (The Day the Crayons Quit). Families can read to therapy dogs as well as participate in crafts and fun activities provided by the event’s sponsors: Simi Valley Public Library, Simi Valley Parks and Recreation Department, the Simi Valley Library Foundation. Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center and Girl Scouts of America. Drew Daywalt will read his recently published book Forty the Fortune Teller and answer questions. This is a free event. Location: Simi Valley Public Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.
