In 1748 when explorers examined the site, they found that the ash had preserved buildings, sculptures, gladiator armor, jewelry, medical devices and more from this ancient city. At the Pompeii Exhibit now on display at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, visitors can now walk through a breath-taking display of how Roman’s lived and marvel at real artifacts that were used by these people so long ago.

These stunningly well-preserved items, accompanied by multi-media presentations, create an immersive experience that will transport you back in time. Learn how the Romans produced running water in their homes for baths and tended to their gardens, families and homes through this one of a kind experience. Immerse yourself in art and culture from this legendary era.

The unique Pompeii Exhibit features over 150 authentic artifacts on loan from the Naples Archeological Museum in Italy and can be found at the Reagan Library through April 21st, 2019.
