Where to Watch the Fireworks in Simi Valley

Simi Valley has been putting on its “Star Spangled Firework Show” for over fifty years, first hosted by the Rotary Club and now the tradition is carried on by the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce. The event is held at the Santa Susana Community Park from 3 pm to 8 pm where you can enjoy yummy food, a free fun zone for kids, a variety of vendors, beer and wine, and other fun surprises. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets OR enjoy the VIP experience in an air-conditioned area or under an umbrella in your own private area which includes catered food and drinks.

Celebrate America’s birthday at the Ronald Reagan Library with family-friendly entertainment, lawn games, crafts, face painting, a water balloon toss, sack races, and more. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Band will also be performing, putting on a patriotic concert perfect for the day. There will also be a game of “presidential bingo” with prizes for winners! The museum cafe will be open to purchase food and drinks and the grounds will be open to sit, relax, and take in the gorgeous views. As a special addition to the day, the museum will be unveiling a statue of Sally Ride, the first American woman to fly in space, at noon!
